MEET THE JUDGES

Our judging panel changes each year and consists of established and experienced national and international creatives from a range of disciplines within the creative industry. Judging will be based on a number of criteria specific to each individual award.

Unique Monique

Actress, presenter and founder of the Creative Industry Awards, with over 14 years experience in the creative industry.

Starting off her career as a makeup artist for Yves Saint Laurent and The Wind in The Willows play at the REP Theatre. Monique swiftly moved into the modelling world, firstly as a pageant contestant before collaborating with brands such as Nintendo, Lacoste and Bacardi.

Her passion for acting lead her to audition and successfully secure a place at Identity School of Acting (IDSA) where she studied an array of acting disciplines.

Monique is the fashion show presenter, runway choreographer and sits on the casting panel for Fashion Show Live during London Fashion Week and Birmingham Fashion Festival.

Her experience of working in a variety of disciplines and platforms in the creative industry has helped her build a portfolio of amazing contacts, business partners and friends.

Victor Migalchan

Victor Migalchan is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, EMMY Awards Judge and actor of European descent. His work is characterized by mathematical story creation, nonlinear storylines, dry humor, authenticity of cultures, powerful statements, old school values, extended scenes of dialogue, references to philosophers and alternate thinking.

Victor Migalchan is known for "My American Family" TV Series, "Dragon Chef" Cooking Show, Educational Reality TV Show for kids and teens "Life Academy", Talent Show "OnAir" and also TV Programs: "The Real Deal of Hollywood", "News of the World: Travel" and Red Carpet of Hollywood"

Hilary Davis

Two times award winning South African actress, writer and film producer living in London. With over 6 years experience in the creative industry, Hilary started off her career as a makeup artist working with top brands to include Estée Lauder and Clinique before swiftly moving into acting.

She is a rising star in the independent horror/drama industry. Hillary is known for Haunted Studios and Demons at Dawn coming soon on Amazon. She is currently writing a feature film and is a co-producer for a new TV show.

Oliver Morris

Catapulting into the fashion industry in 2006 with his distinctive cutting edge artistry, Oliver has worked across a range of disciplines - producing, art directing, photography, videography and events.

He has pioneered through the industry operating in London, Dubai, Italy and Japan. His extensive portfolio features a vast array of brands and collaborations to include Dolce & Gabbana, Rio Ferdinand, Alexandra McQueen and supermodel Janice Dickinson.

Sonam Sharma

Also known as Sonamm or Zaffarah, an Indian actress, brand architect and personal branding consultant to an interesting portfolio of clients. Has worked in numerous fields, ranging from copywriting, graphic design and art. She has appeared in TV shows, viral web series, music video and Hollywood movies.

Most recently she has featured in Made in Heaven on Amazon Prime. She has worked on campaigns with a variety of brands to include Topshop, Debenhams, UNICEF Canon and Nissan Datsun. Sonam has been published in magazines and prints internationally and was voted the Sexiest Woman of the Month (Global) by an Australian Magazine in 2013.

Andre Hesson

Also known as Andre Soul, one of Birminghams entertainers and actors who has created platforms for upcoming artists and given opportunities to young people to develop and build confidence through open mic nights, comedy crowd interaction and and intimate music sessions such as Artistic Souls, Talented Tuesdays, Featured Sessions and Fun With Friends.

He is also known for his performances at RSC, Birmingham Opera Company and Birmingham Theatre School and The REP. He has featured in The Weekend, Tales of The Fatherless and various commercials.

Micaela Soler Astorga

Also known as Micky Soler, a Spanish actress, journalist. She has collaborated with a variety of newspapers and cultural magazines to include Granadian La Tregua, RE-VOLVER and GALLO DE VIDRIO from Seville. She wrote her first novel at 10 years old and is the founder of OriGinal MagaZine a bilingual digital magazine dedicated to art culture and creativity whilst focusing on photography, theatre, literature, fashion and music. Collaborating with creatives from the UK, Spain and America, the magazine tries to find new paths in the conception of artistic creativity.

Roxana Yasin

Also known as Roxhiguys, a NLP coach from Nottingham with over 20 years experience of working in the fashion and creative industry to include model scouting and hosting fashion events such as Fashion Show Live during London Fashion Week.

Maikol VJ

A Brazilian producer, editor and video maker experienced in working on national and international cinema projects. Also a profound specialist in film marketing and promotion. Working with VFX effects for cinema, Maikol has a love for independent cinema and has been fortunate to have worked in different parts of the world such as the UK, Brazil and America.
